Fundraising Music Night
Joining as a collaborator, I assisted the organizing committee members with decorating the music night, writing introductory letters about the paintings, setting up the background, presenting to guests and selling merchandise. Besides that, I provided support whenever there was extra work or a need for assistance, if possible, to ensure everything went according to plan
Across the Vastness, Hear Our Voices
With the community purpose, the music night 'Qua Bao La, Nghe Tiếng Ta' (Across the Vastness, Hear Our Voices) was launched as a gentle, healing musical space, where every young person could find a tender piece of sky amidst their busy days.
This event is a part of Dreams of the Poor (DOP) 2025 which aim to support children at different special destinations to have chances to approach education through fundraising summer activities, this time focused in Dak Nong, Vietnam.

The charity music night was a truly memorable experience for me. I had the opportunity to meet and socialize with many more people, from my peers to the organizing committee members. Participating in this activity helped me gain a better understanding of the spirit of dedication and the value of working together for the community, especially raising funds to support disadvantaged children.
At the event that Friday, my main job was managing the merchandise sales for the concert audience. Through this, I realized that sales are actually not as simple as I had thought. I had to be quick to seize the moment and persistent in calling out and promoting, for example, taking advantage of the time people were checking in to invite them to the counter, introduce the products, and persuade them to make a purchase. I also learned how to calculate money accurately and avoid confusing orders during busy times.

Additionally, before the show started, I also helped the organizing committee with decorations by coloring items and writing the meanings of the children's paintings, utilizing a bit of my own painting skill to help everyone complete the work faster. Although I made a few spelling mistakes a couple of times, the organizing committee members did not scold me. On the contrary, they gently reminded me, gave thorough suggestions, and helped me correct the errors, which made me feel appreciated and encouraged. It made me more confident and proactive in my work.

When the program ended, the organizing committee members came right over to profusely thank us. At that moment, I felt incredibly happy knowing that my efforts had been recognized. I was very glad to have been able to use my own abilities to contribute a part to everyone, and especially for such a meaningful activity.

That evening helped me learn many skills such as communication, observation, problem-solving, and teamwork. Most importantly, I was very happy to have contributed a small part of my effort to a meaningful event aimed at raising funds to help children from difficult family circumstances.
