SEED2SPEED Project
Initiated from the previous Souloop Project when some of the kids wrote that they wish a toy car. One of my friend started an I idea that why don't we teach the kids at the orphanage to build their own controlled car toy, so they can have their customized precious one.
Within the Seed2Speed Project, I participated as the online organizer, assuming the dual roles of facilitating recreational activities, planning for budget, and supporting the games.
Concurrently, I supported the founder in planning the project, which allowed the participants to engineer self-propelled model cars using exclusively recycled materials. Initially, my engagement was driven by curiosity: 'How can seemingly discarded materials be transformed into a functional, mobile vehicle?'
However, upon observing the assembly process firsthand from the battery powered wired motor and the chassis constructed from wooden sticks, toothpicks, and bottle caps, all structurally bonded with a glue gun, and witnessing the final model car move, even though just via tutorials and event videos that my friends recorded, I was genuinely struck by the power of innovation and creative engineering.
